Yoga for Health Mondays, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm (Class is ongoing. New session begins April 28th) Drop-ins welcome! Beginning/continuing level yoga specifically to release muscular tension, increase strength, flexibility and improve overall balance. Staying centered, grounded and focused on the breath, we bring our attention inward and fully inhabit our bodies to reduce stress and return to equilibrium. Each class will have a specific focus (generall stress reduction, head/neck/shoulder tension relief, postures to support the back, etc.)
Movement for Health Mondays, 6 - 7:30 pm. New session begins April 28, 2008) Drop-ins welcome! Class will run when there are three people signed up! Call before coming to class. This class combines yoga, dance, basic Tai Chi exercises and movement to create harmony and balance in the body. (I've restructured these two classes so the Dance for Health has only "dance" in it and is more active; this class has more of a relaxation focus.)
After a thorough warmup, we do sequences across the floor to break a sweat and get the "chi" flowing through the body, then do strengthening yoga postures, followed by yoga stretches, beginning-level inversions, and finally with one or two restorative yoga poses.
Make Monday night an evening of health and stress reduction! Come for Movement for Health to get your energy and circulation going -- then take the Yoga For Health class immediately afterwards to unwind from your day, and increase strength and flexibility.

Learn
how to better tune into your intuitive abilities and when to trust what
you're receiving. You'll be introduced to simple grounding and
meditation techniques, ways to access your intuition, and will be led

for SPRING: SELF-HELP & COUPLES MIGRAINE RELIEF I'm
trying an experiment with scheduling. Let me know if you're interested
and I'll start a list. When 4 people have signed up, we'll arrange a
day and time. Class is 2-4 hours, depending on how many people attend.
Learn simple and effective self-help techniques to ward off a migraine, and learn how you can help a friend or family member relieve their migraine. Basic concepts of acupressure and Ayurveda will be taught, and a demonstration of simple protocols will be done. Ms. Fiore has been helping clients relieve migraines for over 15 years.
